The exercise was a hands-on simulation of real-time business scenarios, process dependencies, and cross-functional decision-making under pressure — the exact conditions a team faces on an actual ERP rollout, compressed into a single room. Every block pulled represented a real trade-off: a dependency, a workaround, a decision point — forcing the team to think the way they would mid-rollout, not the way a slide deck lets you think when there's no consequence to getting it wrong.

Underneath the game mechanics, the simulation was built around the disciplines that actually determine whether an ERP implementation succeeds: blueprinting, change management, and system alignment. Pull the wrong block — make the wrong call on a dependency — and the structure shows it immediately, the same way a rushed rollout decision shows up weeks later on a client's floor, just with a much longer delay between cause and consequence.
